This years Weekend Womens Pennant was a great success. They joined the Men’s handicap 2 pennant teams around the valley to compete. It was a very different format to what the women were used to but embraced it and by all accounts enjoyed it.
Yesterday the 27th April the final of the Weekend Womens Pennant was held at Traralgon. It was contested between Traralgon and Warragul. The weather was kind and there was only a small amount of drizzle to begin with but soon cleared up. Congratulations to Traralgon who won with a 3.5 to 1.5 win.
Thanks to Traralgon for show casing their course, it was in great condition. Also Brenda and Gail for always being there to help GWG run the event.
