2025 Pennant Finals
Under sunny and quite warm skies at a beautifully presented Morwell, Semi finals for Pennant 2025 have been run and won
In H1 top of the table Trafalgar went down to 4th placed Warragul in a close contest. Last year’s champions Churchill Monash again prevailed over Garfield 4-3
In H2 Warragul had to go extra holes to overcome a gallant Garfield, and 3rd placed Trafalgar will again have some home ground advantage against Warragul, after overcoming Traralgon.
Scratch matches have finished in diminishing light with Morwell defeating Yallourn and Drouin over Warragul

Welcome to Pennant 2025 for GWG.
Attached are the official rules, final draw and tee allocations(H1/H2) for pennant this year.
There are a few changes from what you have previously received so please use these going forward.
Following a request from the Ladies Captain, 4 Ladies teams from Warragul, Traralgon, Garfield and an Allies Team will be joining H2 in a trial this year. You will note their addition in both the H2 fixture and H2 Tee allocations. Because we have only 6 teams in H2, it was possible to add these 4 by 5 per team. You will notice we still have a 2 ball in the men's competition and that has been moved to the outside of the field to give them a bit of free air(if only a couple of holes).
Handicap 1 Pennant
with ten teams, including two from Traralgon, will commence on the 2nd of Feb at Morwell.
Scratch Pennant
with 6 sides commences on the 23rd of Feb at Warragul
Handicap 2 (and ladies Sunday comp)
6 men/4 women commences on the 2nd Mar at Garfield.
There are breaks for Labour Day weekend 9 Mar, Easter 20 Apr (between semi's and finals), and a week off in scratch 30th Mar due to course availability options.
Semi finals for all grades(excluding the ladies) will be at Morwell on the 13th Apr with H2 8.30am tees and H1 9.15am tees and Scratch with 1.30pm tees.
Finals for all grades(excluding the ladies) will be held at Trafalgar on the 27th Apr with H1/H2 9.00am tees and Scratch 10.15am tee.
As per last year we request the course managers ensure the results sheets are passed to me as soon as possible via email either PDF's or high resolution photos, so that results can be published on facebook and WEB on the night of competition.
During the season I will be absent for the rounds of 2 Mar and 16 Mar, for these two rounds results will be sent to Glenn Robinson(Drouin) on
